Great place to have a few drinks, grab a quick bite, and catch a game. PQST is one of those bars where none of the employees have just one job, and each person on the roster looks out for the next. As a result, the servers and bartenders have great energy and chemistry. They’re very accommodating and friendly. They keep the place clean and moving like a well-oiled machine. The food is good. The drinks keep coming. They don’t make a lot of mistakes, and they own the ones they do. What more can you ask for?
I was serviced by Chris & believe me when I tell you as my first time experience he made it extremely welcoming, he helped my friend & I so good that we decided this will be our new spot. The food was delicious & the drinks Chris made were amazing. I appreciate the efforts Chris went above & beyond to make my friend & I feel welcome & we will continue to come back. Great Job Chris !! Chris (at the bar upstairs) was very nice, friendly, and genuine during interaction! He also made really great drinks! Loved it here and will come back. The wings were also awesome!
Pleasantly surprised by the affordable price. Great food with a nice selection and lots of screens for games.
Garlic fries are on point but most importantly, the staff and everyone was very kid friendly. I had a party of 8, 4 of which were kids ages 2-7, and we sat outside. The kids could be kids and we could relax for a little bit. Absolutely loved the ease of using the QR code ordering and even though we were outside we never were lacking for a staff member checking in on us.
We needed a place to have lunch before we went into the Museum of Natural History, this place was a 10 minute walk and worth it! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and responsive. They were really busy but they did a great job! I had the chili and cheese burger with a side of coleslaw.
I always seem to stop here when I’m in DC. Great food, suds, and atmosphere. Meals recommend, but even if you’re just stopping by for a brew and a side, PQST is a reliable stop.
We got lucky when we stumbled upon this tavern! We sat upstairs were there was a few less people, a beautiful view, stunning bar top and plenty of tv's to see whatever sport you wanted....yes including the bathroom. The food was fantastic! Our service was so kind to give his opinion about different items when we asked. And not a yeah I've never had it but hear it's good, it was a descriptive this is better or that would be my first choice, he was super knowledgeable and very patient with all of the questions. If I come to DC definitely have to come back here! I highly recommend!!! Plus if it wasn't so dang hot there is tons of outdoor seating.
